Whenever you buy products from Rescue Dawgz, a portion of your sales go to help support the people and local Animal Rescues and Shelters in our community. #StrongLikeShaylee Fundraiser
Shaylee Klaes is a young girl who has recently been diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a form of cancer that starts in the bones, which has also spread to lungs. This unexpected diagnosis has literally turned her family's world upside-down in a matter of minutes, and they are now facing one of the most challenging journey's they've ever faced; a road of intensive treatment, chemotherapy, and constant medical care.
The case of Shaylee Klaes and her family has touched our hearts and we hope it touches yours as well. Any product purchased from Rescue Dawgz will see proceeds going to the Klaes family. Show everyone how you are #StrongLikeShaylee and help her #FightOsteosarcoma.
Our Story
Meet the puppers behind our logo at Rescue Dawgz. From the top down are Fred, Zippy and Subie.
Fred is a long haired daschund. We've had her for 16 years. Sadly, she passed away March 10th, 2024. Her muzzle had gotten gray, her eyes had gone cloudy, she couldn't hear and could only eat soft foods. She was our senior pup and will be missed dearly.
Zippy is a Papillion mix. She was plucked off the streets of Puerto Rico as a stray and we adopted her in 2019. It was clear when we got her that Zippy had been abused and been through some trauma. After almost 3 years with us she knows she has a forever home.
Subie: Yes, she was named after the car I love. I actually first met her when we were having an adoption event at the Subaru dealership I worked at. Her name was Heather then. Subie definitely fits her.
